Would you consider this a good thing?

I'm friends on facebook with this guy who I went to college with but I don't really know him. So, the other night I was tipsy and sent him a message on fb and told him that I thought he was very attractive and that I wasn't trying to be creepy. He sent one back and said that he thought I was definitely cute and that he wasn't creeped out. Then I. Told him thanks. He sent me another message that said he was going to sleep because he had to work soon but that I shouldn't be a stranger. Do you think this could be the start of something?
