Things started off great and now...?

I met this guy at a party about a week ago. I was a little tipsy(not gonna lie) and he was there sort of "taking care" of me the whole time, which was sweet. He's a little younger than me, but I thought he was cute. We found each other on Facebook and started chatting a bit. He invited me to go see a movie and we had a great time. A few days later, he invited me to his house to watch some movies. Things were going great, but he was moving a little quickly for a 2nd date. I told him I wasn't ready to do anything besides making out, and he was very respectful of it. HOWEVER, he did mention to me that he wasn't looking for a girlfriend because he recently got out of a serious relationship. I'm not looking for a boyfriend either because I'm about to go to college. But he called me pretty and cute the whole time, and seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. When the date ended, he seemed a little distant and didn't text me back when I texted him that night. The next day, we texted a few times, but he didn't keep the conversation going and made up an excuse to stop. This was yesterday. I'm SO confused! He was all over me during the date, but now he doesn't want to talk? I'm not going to text him unless he texts me first. Guys, any idea of how this guy is feeling? Thanks.
