How should I do my make up?

I go to high school, and Im in 10th grade. I love eye liner, and mascara, I have liquid mascara and pencil mascara, and wind up, which type is best to use? also, how should I do my make up, to make it light, and pretty, but noticable? now people may ell me go more natural but i just don't think i'm pretty I wanna do my makeup really nice
